Signs You May Need a New Roof
1. Unsually High Energy Costs
Your cooling system will run excessively once when there is insufficient attic ventilation. With correct installation of ventilators, we can prevent the moisture that can become trapped.
2. Water stains on walls and ceilings / Mold growth
If there are stains, water is leaking into your house! You need to act fast, otherwise the more excess moisture there is, the faster mold will start growing.
3. Missing, cracked, or curled shingles / Wood can be seen
Shingles will become weak and brittle once they are reaching their end life. They become dry, and are more prone to fall off in gusts of wind. Time for a new roof!
4. Dark areas/patches on your roof
This could be a sign of mould, fungus, or algae growth. It does not necessarily mean your roof is no good, but definitely does not look appealing in situations that you may be selling your house.
